  • Brian Hughes

    Lead Pastor

    Brian Hughes serves Kokomo First Assembly as the lead Pastor. He began his pastoral ministry in 1986 and has also traveled throughout the United States as a guest speaker in many Christian venues. He has led churches in Texas and Tennessee and has served as a leader in national and state ministry networks. Brian's pastoral gifting has helped guide congregations into growth through outreach and discipleship. His love for people and his passion for winning individuals to Christ is the major thrust of his ministry.

    Brian has a heart for Kokomo and believes God has placed him in the city to help influence KFA and the entire community toward a spiritual awakening. He understands the importance of connecting with pastors and believers from various churches, denominations, cultural backgrounds and ethnicities to strengthen the Body of Christ in our city.

    Brian and his wife, Darla, were married in 1986 and have two children and three adorable grandchildren. Their daughter Bri, serves with her husband, Eric Thiede, who is the Worship Pastor at Northridge Church in Plymouth, Michigan.Their son, Brad, along with his wife, Landra, serve together as Campus Pastors at Fellowship Church in Norman, Oklahoma

  • Darla Hughes

    Pastor's Wife/Women's Coordinator

    Darla, wife of Lead Pastor Brian Hughes, began her ministry in 1981 while serving as a Music Minister at Calvary Church in Springfield, Illinois where she led both adult and children's choir/ensembles. In her many years of ministry, she has also worked as a Care and Connection Pastor, Staff Pastor, and Administrative Assistant to the Lead Pastor.

    She currently oversees the Women's Ministry. She is passionate about seeing women become all God desires for them to be. Her desire is to see every generation of women extend a helping hand to the generation that is younger. Darla has a Bachelors Degree in Music. She enjoys interior design, scrap-booking, crafts, traveling, and spending time with Brian, their two children and her grandchildren, Beckham, Sterling, and Kessler!

  • Ian Densen

    Creative Worship Director

    Ian oversees the Worship and Creative Arts Ministries of KFA. He has been involved in ministry his entire life. Beginning in middle and high school, he led worship, directed choirs and bands (rhythm sections and orchestras), and was heavily involved in the planning and execution of multiple productions throughout the years that involved hundreds of students and faculty.

    Following the call of the Lord, Ian moved to Kokomo in April of 2013 from Florida(where he persued a degree in piano performance) and is truly excited to be a part of what God is doing at Kokomo First Assembly and in this community.

  • Falecita "Tot" Rubow

    Children's Ministry Director

    Tot is our children's ministry director here at Kokomo First Assembly. She is finishing a BA in Business Management and she has an absolute passion for children of all ages!

    Tot has coached Upward basketball at New Life Church for 5 seasons, coached Pal Soccer, and has been a Girl Scout Leader for multi-level troops. Her motto is "NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND!" She has set an annual goal at KFA to reach at least 40 kids with the Good News and lead them to Christ!

    She is a wife to Frank Rubow, a mom of 3, and a grandma of 4! She "loves life but loves the Lord more." She is open to do all that the Lord leads her to do!
